Are you ready to take the leap and turn your passion into a real challenge? If you dream of sailing solo, not just as a simple sailor, but as a true solo racerour experience is right for you.
L'Experience Only Sailor Regatta Mode On is designed for sailors who want to test their skills and learn how to handle a boat in total autonomy, just like in a solo offshore race. All this on board a fantastic Mini 6.50 from the Cima Boats shipyard, model Wevo, a boat perfect for tackling the open sea and the challenges of an ocean race.
This is not just a boat ride: it is an immersive experience of three days that will take you to the next level. We begin on Friday afternoon at the Lega Navale in La Spezia with a thorough review of manoeuvres, gaits and proper use of the helm. Before setting sail, we will analyse the weather conditions with the weather routing most modern to plan our sailing strategy, just like in a regatta.
We will set sail for the island of Elba or Corsica and return on Sunday afternoon. During the navigation, we will teach you to:

* Participants will have to book accommodation outside the boat at their own expense if they wish to arrive at the course destination before or prior to the purchased experience.
If, for health or emergency reasons, the participant is unable to participate in the experience, he/she will lose the possibility of obtaining a refund or participating in another experience. We therefore recommend purchasing our SeaYou Safe Return insurance for an additional fee of 7%. This insurance allows you to cancel your departure even the day before! In the event of cancellation, you will be reimbursed the full cost of the experience/holiday, provided that the participant has already paid the full price of the package. In addition, in the case of a regular trip you will receive a voucher to the value of the policy to use on your next membership.
E.g. Mario buys an experience for € 1000, adding the 'Safe Return' insurance Mario will spend € 1070 at checkout.
Mario, due to family problems, will have to give up his departure a week earlier.
Sea You will credit Mario €1,000 while the €70 can be used for his next booking.
Before setting sail, we will have a full briefing on manoeuvres, safety and meteorology. Together we will rig the boat and prepare a first race strategy. Depending on the weather conditions at the time, we will decide whether to head towards the island of Elba or Corsica.
During navigation, we will do a quick review of weather strategies and assess which course is best to follow. At the same time, we will discuss the main safety systems on board and show you how to use them correctly if necessary.
You will do an initial routing analysis with the main systems currently on the market, to understand how technology can be your best ally in the race. We will make a complete introduction to emergency management at sea, ensuring your safety and that of the boat. Finally, we will address two crucial aspects for the solo racer: sleep management and how to feed yourself properly to maintain energy and lucidity throughout the sailing.
