Global Recognition: The Yachtmaster is universally accepted; the Officer Class II is often restricted to the Italian flag.

The course is structured to give you total confidence at every stage of the examination:
In Class (6 days): We will study charting, tide calculations, meteorology, COLREG rules and do small practical exercises on radar in detail.
By Boat (5 days): We will move on board to review and refine all practical manoeuvres, ensuring that you arrive at the exam ready and relaxed.
Extra Certifications: If you do not have the certificate GMDSS SRCyou will be able to achieve this directly with us during the classroom days, before heading to the base of Porto Santo Stefano.
Yachtmaster SAIL: € 2.700
Yachtmaster ENGINE: € 2.900
COMBO OFFER (Sail + Motor): € 3,100 (A huge saving for those who want the double qualification).
Note: The MCA examination fee of £ 256 (approx. € 280) must be added to the prices.
Our success rate exceeds 90% by the second examination. We allow all candidates access to two consecutive examination sessions at no extra cost to the centre. Should you need more time, we will organise customised training within two months to get you there.

* Participants will have to book accommodation outside the boat at their own expense if they wish to arrive at the course destination before or prior to the purchased experience.
If, for health or emergency reasons, the participant is unable to participate in the experience, he/she will lose the possibility of obtaining a refund or participating in another experience. We therefore recommend purchasing our SeaYou Safe Return insurance for an additional fee of 7%. This insurance allows you to cancel your departure even the day before! In the event of cancellation, you will be reimbursed the full cost of the experience/holiday, provided that the participant has already paid the full price of the package. In addition, in the case of a regular trip you will receive a voucher to the value of the policy to use on your next membership.
E.g. Mario buys an experience for € 1000, adding the 'Safe Return' insurance Mario will spend € 1070 at checkout.
Mario, due to family problems, will have to give up his departure a week earlier.
Sea You will credit Mario €1,000 while the €70 can be used for his next booking.
In order to tackle the course at its best, you need to have:
Clothing: Complete Offshore suit and technical boat shoes.
Accessories: Sailing gloves and headlamp (essential for night trials).
Personal: Essential medicines.

The Yachtmaster course is an advanced command course. To participate, you must possess:
Technical skills: Excellent knowledge of nomenclature, boat handling (tacking and tacking) and mooring manoeuvres.
Navigation: Mastery in the use of the plotter and a solid foundation in nautical cartography.
Theory: Thorough knowledge of standards COLREG (Sea collisions).
Language: Good knowledge of the English language (required for examination with RYA examiner).

I sailed in the Norwegian Fjords with Riccardo, a beautiful experience, I never expected such beauty, even the little villages we visited, really enchanting. The sailing was also enjoyable, I didn't think that sailing and carrying a boat was so pleasant.
