Terms and Conditions of SeaYouGroup Experiences

General Terms and Conditions

1 - The price includes

  • Health insurance. Read more.
  • Customised T-shirt
  • Certificate of Participation
  • Workbook and pen
  • Skipper
  • Bed (participants will have to book accommodation outside the boat at their own expense if they wish to arrive at their destination before or after the period of the purchased experience).
  • Flight

WARNING: The bed in the experience EXTREME is covered by SeaYou only in the ocean route and NOT on the training days prior to departure. For this reason, you will have to book your own accommodation in the city. 

2 – What is not included in the price

  • Galley on board (boat pantry) and food on land (approx. €30/day)
  • Fuel (approx. €25 per person)
  • Marina fees (approx. €25 per person)
  • transport from/to the airport (can be organised at extra cost)
  • Any other item not specified in the included costs

3 - Payment

Payment must be made according to the established methods: bank transfer or online credit card.

4 – Waiving the Experience or Holiday

  • The participant may renounce the experience and receive a refund equal to the80% if the renunciation takes place within 60 days before departure, or to the 20% if the renunciation takes place within 40 days before departure.
  • In the event of withdrawal for health or emergency reasons, the participant will not be entitled to a refund nor will you be able to participate in another experience without purchasing insurance SeaYou Safe Return.

5 - SeaYou Safe Return Insurance

We strongly recommend the purchase of our insurance SeaYou Safe Returnwhich allows you to cancel your departure even the day before, only for certifiable reasons. In case of cancellation: Up to 90% of the cost of the experience/holiday will be refunded, provided that the participant has already paid the full price of the package.
The cost of Sea You safe return amounts to 7% of the total cost of the experience.

  • The price of sea you return may vary for each type of experience.

6 – Cancellation by SeaYou

  • If the experience is cancelled for reasons beyond the participant's control, SeaYou undertakes to reserve a place for the customer in another session at a later date.
  • In this case, the company will not reimburse expenses outside the experience (flights, hotels, etc.).

7 – Suspension of Experience (course already started)

The suspension of the experience is an exclusive decision of the Commander.
To ensure the highest safety standards, the experience may be subject to changes in the times and days of departure and return from non-stop sailing.
In that case, SeaYou will not reimburse any changes to accommodation dates or flights.
If the experience is suspended due to force majeure (bad weather, technical problems, accidents or lack of minimum safety conditions), nothing will be refunded to the participant, including extra costs for flights, accommodation, etc.

8 – Participant's Responsibilities and Rules of Conduct

The participant is aware that the activity may be physically and mentally demanding.
It is mandatory to maintain a behaviour non-threatening and cooperativerespecting the Commander's procedures and orders, especially in the area of security.

9 - Damage

  • The participant is not responsible for any damage to the boat during the experience, unless caused intentionally.
  • SeaYou is not responsible for damage to personal property (e.g. smartphone breakage, loss of items at sea, etc.).
